2 4 F1 - Change Setup Enter the letter to the far left of the option to be changed, then enter the new value. Continue doing this until all of the desired changes have been made, then press <ESC> when finished. File names are of the form d:\[PATH] [FILENAME.EXT] If the file is NEW, enter the length and width in the setup screen first; otherwise, enter the file names first. 2 4 F2 - Current Label Window size reflects the length and width entered in the setup screen, and assumes that the text will be 10 characters per inch. Line number is to the left; printer style is to the right. A label also becomes current when a search produces a hit and the search is then stopped. The current label is the label that is saved using F4 - Save. 2 4 F3 - Search A case insensitive search is done on the "marked" file. A search "hit" may be edited or deleted, and becomes the current label should the search be stopped. Continuing the search will clear the current label for the next hit. Search for an entry number by preceding the number with "@", so a search for "@27" (no quotes) will call up entry #27. 2 4 F4 - Save Saves the current label to the file designated as the Save File on the setup screen. If the length and width shown on the setup screen are smaller than that used by the file, then that portion of the text that will fit is saved. 2 4 F5 - Config File Loads a customized configuration file. See the manual for details on creating such a file. The correct syntax to use is: d:\[PATH] [FILENAME.EXT] [/s] The "/s" will toggle the sound on/off depending on the status indicated by the configuration file. 2 4 F6 - Files Swaps the Recall File and the Save File. Use this function when moving information BETWEEN files since the the data saved using F4 - Save will ONLY be saved to the Save File. 2 4 F7 - Print Accesses all the printing routines such as label alignment, line masking style setting, text setting, and previewing as well as output to the printer. Previewing and printing will be done on the "marked" file only. 2 4 F8 - Mark File Toggles the "marked" file between the Recall File and the Save File. The "marked" file is the active file for printing, previewing, and for searching and is indicated by the "√" at the far left of the file name. Remember: CHECK THE CHECK! 2 4 F9 - Shell DOS Temporarily exits the program and allows you to do other things from the DOS prompt. Type "EXIT" <CR> (no quotes) to re-enter the program. Any files that are displayed will be re- opened so the length and width in the setup screen will be reset to that indicated in a file. If you have changed the setup screen, you may have to change it again.
